Primary Focus & Experience

Allison helps clients navigate land use and environmental issues impacting their projects in Washington State. She assists clients in understanding and following zoning rules, development regulations, and environmental laws so they can secure permits and build.

Before joining McCullough Hill, Allison served as a law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court. During law school, she interned with the Seattle City Attorney’s Land Use Section and with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office’s Ecology Division. In those roles, she advised clients on issues arising under the State Environmental Policy Act, the Shoreline Management Act, and the Land Use Petition Act and helped litigate cases involving SEPA compliance, zoning code interpretation, water resources, and Clean Water Act permits. Prior to law school, Allison coordinated fundraising and advocacy efforts at Bellwether Housing, a non-profit developer of affordable housing in King County.
